I come to the counselling profession from a varied background but with much life experience in the form of parenting three boys, managing a business (you may recognize me from Brambles Bakery, which I owned and ran in Merritt for many years), and helping families both as a birth & postpartum doula and a gestational surrogate.

Outside of counselling, I am a hands-on, creative person. I knit, spin, make pottery, bake, and just generally gravitate towards the kind of slow, tactile practices that ask you to pay attention. These creative practices remind me that growth happens slowly and quietly, with frustration often showing up as part of the process.
